That is the divide most crypto commentary misses. Solana has spent years trying to prove it is not only fast, but reliable enough to carry real economic activity. When its price rises sharply, people celebrate the chart. What matters more is whether the market is rewarding a protocol that serves its users or a narrative that merely benefits whoever already holds the strongest position.

The move matters because it crosses a psychological and technical threshold at the same time. In trading terms, the market is asking whether Solana can hold above a level that had previously capped rallies. In protocol terms, the same move asks whether on-chain activity, fee capture, and network governance are strong enough to justify the premium being assigned to SOL. These are not the same question.
